From July 22 through July 24, China will be holding the Shanghai International Children Baby Maternity Industry Expo, called CBME China. The annual event is going on its 14th year, and is the largest of its type in the world.

For three days, suppliers of children’s fashion from all parts of the world will meet at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.

The event is by invitation only, but that in no means makes it small. With 2,428 brands and 1,751 exhibitors, the event attracts industry leaders from all over the globe who gather for this event to meet buyers, manufacturers, and other suppliers in the industry. The event has maternity, baby, and children products.

Brands such as Johnson’s Baby, OXO, Philips AVENT, Mattel, Dr. Brown’s, and many more will be participating in the event.

Not only are clothes sold at the event, but there are also various educational platforms, as well such as industry summits, seminars, and events. This year, CBME China is highlighting their Interactive Car Seats Gallery featuring car seats from brands like Baby First and Britax.

CBME General Manager Athena Gong tells Market Watch, “tens of thousands of buyers make CBME China a regular stop on their sourcing calendar as they recognize the purchase efficiency gained by meeting qualified suppliers with quality products that is available at CBME China.”

Market Watch also discusses CBME China’s Licensing Zone, a unique feature at the expo where “licensees can find new properties and brands and initiate licensing deals.”

This international event is also unique because it engages buyers and suppliers in global trade discussions. Market Watch reports that “the program provides a comprehensive source of information on China’s supply chain and will feature a broad range of hot topics from retail store management and operations to emerging market trends.”

From educational platforms, to wholesale products, CBME Chine is the place to be for any one who is in the field of selling children’s clothing.
