The whole world took notice of Michelle Obama in 2008 when she became the First Lady of the United States. She also made history by becoming the first black woman to occupy this position. One thing we love most about Obama, is her desire to be styled by up-and-coming designers. She has helped to generate buzz on a global scale for many of these designers, including Jason Wu, Isabel Toledo, Duro Olowu, and Laura Smalls.
