Fashion label Animale took the opening spot of the much awaited 37th Brazilian fashion fest, Sao Paulo Fashion Week, with its latest Spring/Summer line in their 2015 collection.

While florals and pastels are represented in full swing, Animale takes a new spin on lace by mixing it up with the cut out trend and bringing new life to both trends. Their innovative idea of mixing a classic and a modern trend was genius.

While Animale’s designs have always incorporated cutouts, mesh, lace, and other sheer fabrics to create stunning looks, their newest designs that walked down the catwalk were unforgettable due to the seamless combination of the classics and the trendy.

The pieces presented on the catwalk are so glamorous you would not have a hard time wearing them on your own. They certainly would not need much added flair to complete any look, and the colors are so in sync with what is trending now, they could go in anyone’s closet. Particularly anyone who is fond of new and unique patterns, lace, cut outs, and modest length with scandalous cut outs.

This fashion label has been seen on a few celebrities, but their most talked about move was during their 2012 “Night Safari” campaign that gained a lot of popularity by using the beautiful French model Constance Jablonski in their catalog.

Viewers loved the fresh take on mesh and the way they incorporated animal prints and trendy fashion together. It seems their capabilities of seaming together opposite trends is unrelenting and certainly in their territory.

Animale’s label is all about ready-to-wear fashion for men and women, and their line of clothing presented at this show was no exception. The cut outs were so appropriately placed, there is no need to worry about how to still wear undergarments, like the cut out trend that had celebrities going commando in order to have the smooth lines the dresses demanded (think Gwyneth Paltrow’s sheer dress during the Iron Man 3 premiere).

Without a doubt, this is a trend that is both eye-catching and easy to wear.
