Musical festivals are full of characters, and people wearing a slue of creative, funky, funny, and downright awesome outfits or costumes. The majority of festival-goers wear cute, bohemian-inspired fashion that has become a staple in music festival attire. The fashion of music festivals draws on the feel-good, hippie vibe of the 60’s and 70’s, each person taking their own unique spin on it.

Floppy sun hat

1. Floppy Sun Hat. Music festivals are long days in the hot sun, that is why the functionality of the floppy sun hat is beautiful. A floppy sun hat is cute, and it protects your neck and face from the sun. A black or tan sun hat is plain enough that you can wear it with all of your festival going outfits. Dress it up with a flower, or go plain and simple.

2. Patterned wrap skirt. Wrap skirts are fun and flowy, making for a breezy and comfortable outfit. They are also great for when you are sitting on the ground staking out a show, having a patterned skirt will more easily hide any dirt. They also protect your legs from the sun without making you unbearably hot.

3. High-waisted shorts and a crop top. The high-waisted short crop top combo is one of the most popular outfits at any music festival. It is both cute and comfortable, making for a quick and easy outfit. Warning, make sure your high-waisted shorts are actually high-wasted and long enough, or else you could end up exposing a little too much.

Tank dress (

4. The tank dress. Tank dresses are simple and comfortable. A loose fitting tank dress will keep you cool, and able to get ready quick. Just throw on and go. To jazz up your tank dress wear a long necklace and a pair of strappy sandals and you are ready!

The most important thing to remember is the days will be long, and wearing something that is uncomfortable can make enjoying the music more difficult. If done right, these outfits will make sure your music festival style is both cute and comfy!
