Since her 2009 supporting actress role to George Clooney in the film, “Up in the Air,” Anna Kendrick has done nothing but wow her fans time and time again. Her recent castings include graceful leads as Cinderella in “Into the Woods” (2014) and Cathy Hyatt in “The Last Five Years” (2015).  Off the screen, however, the beloved actress is full of wit and has an amazing sense of humor. Luckily for her fans, she is taking her jokes, putting them to pen and paper, and publishing a book!

Backed by Touchstone, Kendrick’s book is set to be collection of autobiographical essays and promises to “offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she’s experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.”

Kendrick’s Twitter account is hilarious as is! If she can be that funny in 140 characters, imagine how many laughs will come forth from a whole book.

In the press release, Kendrick states, “while many of my female inspirations who have become authors are incredibly well-educated and accomplished comedy writers, I’m very, very funny on Twitter, according to Buzzfeed and my mom, so I feel like this is a great idea.” Buzzfeed really does think she is funny, especially with their recent post of their favorite Tweets as motivational posters.

A title is yet to be released, but the book is expected to fill the shelves in the fall of 2016. An audio version of the book is also scheduled to be available for download. After reading about her journey to stardom thus far, it will be fun to see where Kendrick goes next!
