The current television lineup includes several late night comedy sketch shows, but “Saturday Night Live” is the one known to pave the way for all forthcoming shows. In September, SNL kicked off its 40th anniversary, airing a three-hour program this February. The season is nearing its end, and the lineup for hosts and musical acts for the last three episodes is exhilarating, to say the least. With hosts Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, and Louis C.K., how can we not be excited?

According to SNL, Johansson will return for the fourth time as hostess on May 2. Additionally, she will be dressed to kill in her Black Widow attire from “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Wiz Khalifa will take the stage as the musical guest, most likely performing his current hit song “See You Again” featuring Charlie Puth. This will be Khalifa’s debut performance on the show.

“Hot Pursuit” star Reese Witherspoon will be hosting the succeeding episode on May 9, the day after her upcoming movie hits theaters. Florence & the Machine made her musical debut on SNL performing her hit song, “Shake It Out,” back in 2011. She will return to the SNL stage for the third time less than a month away from releasing her junior album, “How Big How Blue How Beautiful.”

If that isn’t enough entertainment, the last week will surely put audience members over the top. The renowned comedian Louis C.K. will host again, maybe in hopes of a third Emmy nomination for his talented performance. Accompanying him as the musical act, Rihanna will perform on SNL for the fifth time. “B**** better have my Money” artist has also been known to appear in several sketches, and her versatility on the show is enough to raise the hype for the season finale.
