In the weeks before keynote events, Apple aficionados speculate over what surprises will be announced. The most recent Apple event, “Spring Forward,” took place last week in Cupertino, California.


Among the first of CEO Tim Cook’s announcements at “Spring Forward” was HBO Now’s availability on Apple TV. “Game of Thrones” fans around the world are buzzing with excitement over this new way to get their fix of blood, lust, and incest.

Cook also announced the New MacBook – which is, well, a new MacBook. Unsurprisingly, it’s thinner, lighter, and has longer battery life. And the Apple logo on the back doesn’t glow anymore.


The most exciting part of the keynote, though, was new information on the much-anticipated Apple Watches. Apple Watches will make their debut in Apple stores around the world on April 10.


Apple watches start at $349 and prices skyrocket all the way up to $10,000 for a more luxurious option, the Apple Watch Edition.


Features of the new Apple bling include the ability to make and receive phone calls, check e-mails, and download third party applications.


Apple never fails to depict their products as access to a clean, modern lifestyle — the Apple lifestyle. They offer their watch not as a simple product, but as the key to a higher quality life. And it works.
