Google has done it again and leaped forward to provide Doodle 4 Google, an amazing opportunity for students to showcase their skills — and perhaps win a $30,000 scholarship as well!

The theme of this years Doodle 4 Google is: “If you could invent one thing to make the world a better place…” The grand prize is a $30,000 scholarship for college and a $50,000 “Google For Education” technology grant for the winner’s school. The deadline is March 20th.

Even though there will only be one grand prize winner, big tech company Google will be selecting students from each grade in each school across each state in the nation, before picking five national finalists! These finalists are then flown out to the Google HQ for a winner’s ceremony. At the ceremony, one competition winner will be selected from the group of 5 national winners. This winner will receive a $30,000 prize for college and their school will receive the $50,000 technology grant.  All five national winners will receive a tablet and a T-shirt with their winning doodle on them.

If you are a student (K-12), creative in spirit, and looking for a scholarship, check out Doodle 4 Google.
