“The pages of this annual report are filled with inspiring journey and evidence of why there is a great need for a Global Connections for Women Foundation in the world,” said GC4W Founder, Lilian Ajayi.

Ajayi continued, “In the year 2015, we introduced several new programs, expanded others, and formed additional global partnerships in the areas of gender equality, women empowerment and youth empowerment. Our work would not be made possible without the generous support of our donors and sponsors, and I am deeply grateful to those of you who have contributed to our mission.”

Under the direction of Ajayi, GC4W has built a successful and excellent stable of programs geared towards driving meaningful impact in the lives of women and girls around the world. Last fall, GC4W received the “Best of 2015 Manhattan,” award for its education and empowerment efforts among New Yorkers and women around the globe. Also in 2015, the organization received “Keys to the City of Atlanta” and a “National Proclamation,” from Mayor Kasim Reed and the City Council of Atlanta.

GC4W is on the cusp of a major shift in women and youth empowerment programs in 2016.  Check out their full annual report in the spread below, and then hop on over to gc4women.org to learn about how you can support and inspire their efforts in 2016.
